You have many collecting passions but don’t want a separate app for each one? We get it — because we felt the same way! That’s exactly why we created Collectody: the ideal solution for managing multiple types of collections in one place. And the categories currently available are just the beginning! We’ve got plenty of ideas in the pipeline, but we’re especially eager to hear from our users. So — how do you use Collectody, and what would make it even better for you?

For better clarity: Organize your collections in lists

One list is enough for your record collection? Great! But at the same time you'd like to create a new list each year for the books you've read? No problem! You want to keep separate lists for items you wish for and those you want to trade? Absolutely! Collectody gives you full flexibility. You can also reorganize entries within your lists at any time — just one click moves an item from your wishlist to your collection list(s).

Adding made easy: Search, scan, or create new entries manually

You want to add an item and know its EAN, UPC, or ISBN? Just scan the barcode or enter the code — if the item is already in our database, all details will be filled in automatically, and you only need to add your personal notes. If there's no code available, simply use our search or enter the item manually.

A picture’s worth a thousand words: Add a photo of your collectible

For sure every collection thrives on visuals! And every collector has their own unique style. That’s why you can take and upload photos of your collectibles to give your collection a personal touch. To make sure your image looks just right in your lists — and to save you the hassle of trial and error — the app shows you exactly how to position your item when taking the photo.

You want to find out quickly whether a particular item is already in your collection? No problem! You can search each of your lists for the relevant properties. You can also sort your lists as needed — or export them to share, print, or use them elsewhere.

Come to the dark side: We’ve got a dark mode, too!

You would like to give your eyes a break while working on your collections late at night? Or maybe a darker look is just what you prefer? Either way, we’ve got you covered with our dark mode! You can even configure the app to follow your phone’s system settings so it switches automatically without you lifting a finger.

Stronger together: Help grow the community

Let’s be honest — we’re just getting started. In the beginning, you might only find very few of your collectibles through search or scan, and you’ll need to add some manually. But here’s the deal: we review every manually added entry quickly, validate the details, and then add it to the app, if possible. That way, all data stays accurate, the next collector finds the item much faster, and you’ve made a valuable contribution to the collecting community. And for those who contribute the most — well, we’ve got something special in the works… stay tuned!

Multilingual: Choose one of 4 languages

The collecting community is a global one, but not everyone wants to use an app like ours in the same language. That's why we're launching our first version of the app in four different languages already: German, English, French, and Italian. Others may potentially be added if they are relevant to a large number of users.
